We believe that God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, created all things. Special among his creation is humanity and whom He loves passionately.

God created a perfect world for his creation. In this world Adam and Eve had meaningful relationship with each other and with God. God, in making man and woman in his image gave them freedom of choice. Adam and Eve chose to rebel against God. This rebellion separated humanity from God and deprived us of intimate relationship with God.

From that time, God set in motion his plan to restore relationship with humanity. That plan became flesh in the birth of Jesus more than 2000 years ago. Though the nature of his conception and the sign accompanying his birth were supernatural, He was born to an ordinary man and woman in Bethlehem.

Jesus, God in flesh, lived among us to teach us how to live and to point us toward God. He then voluntarily allowed Himself to be killed by humans in order to bridge the gulf between God and man. Jesus then rose from the grave, and showed himself to be God. After ascending into heaven, he did not abandon his followers but left the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, to guide and direct his followers to the present day.

We believe that Jesus has left us with the privelige and responsibility to love the world in the same way that He did. We connect and are recharged by God through being in awe of God, being in community with other followers of Jesus, believing in Jesus, commitment to growing in our faith and serving others. These practices lead tocaring for those in need, by living lives of high moral character, and, most importantly, introducing others to Jesus.

We believe that God will end history at some point in the future. The exact time of Jesus return we do not know. But we believe that at that point in history we will meet God face to face and he will lead his followers into an eternity of joy and blessing.
